Living in Tokyo or Yokohama (Japan)? - Let's try a martial art called Wing Chun!
If you are living in Japan why not try having a lesson in a martial art? AT J's GYM we teach the Chinese martial art called wing chun. If you are already familiar with it, perhaps trained or training in wing chun in a different country, you should really grab the chance to experience a different take on the same system. You'll get the chance to train with other members of the great wing chun family, who might be using the same techniques and concepts in a slightly different way.
You can join a group lesson(s) or get a private lesson. If you are experienced in wing chun taking a private lesson is popular. Especially doing chisao with someone from a different school is great fun. There are so many ways of doing it and experiencing a different variation on the drill can be really beneficial.

I've often heard that it's difficult to find a place to learn martial arts in Tokyo that is open to foreigners with limited or no Japanese language skills but there are actually several places. I guess we're not good enough to SEO our websites... But if you found this page, then perhaps I have done a better SEO job than previously…
Hope you will check out the rest of our website as well and perhaps come by for a trial lesson!
See you soon! (Fingers crossed!)
