Private Wing Chun Lessons
Personal training built around your experience, goals, and current level—so you can focus on what you need most.
Who It’s For
Each lesson is adjusted to your experience, your goals, and the problems you want to solve.
No martial arts experience is needed. Begin with the fundamentals and progress at a pace you can understand.
Take a closer look at structure, movement, distance, balance, and footwork.
Identify why something is not working and focus your training on what needs to change.
Explore Chi Sao, Lat Sao, interception, pressure, and practical application in greater detail.
Build on your previous training while exploring the ideas and functional approach of FWC.
Focus on self-defense, technical development, or a particular challenge you want to improve.
Personal Coaching
Private lessons let us examine details that can easily be missed in a group class and concentrate on the training that will help you most right now.
Instead of following a fixed lesson, we concentrate on what is not working and the areas you most want to improve.
Structure, distance, timing, and pressure can be examined and corrected immediately while you train.
Training can develop from beginner fundamentals to Chi Sao, Lat Sao, interception, and exercises that lead toward sparring.
Training
The content is not fixed. Each lesson is built around your goals and the problems that need attention that day.
Rather than simply deciding what to practise, we look at what needs to improve—and build the lesson from there.
Beginners Welcome
You do not need any previous experience in martial arts or Wing Chun.
We do not begin with complicated movements. Training starts with understandable fundamentals such as how to stand, move, maintain distance, and use your body effectively.
Because you do not need to keep pace with a group, you can ask questions, repeat movements, and learn at a speed that works for you.
Experience is not the important part. The important part is beginning.

Visiting Japan?
Wing Chun practitioners and martial artists visiting Japan are welcome to book a private lesson without joining the gym.
A private session is an opportunity to explore a different approach, work through a particular problem, or experience Functional Wing Chun while you are in the Tokyo, Yokohama, or Yokosuka area. The lesson can be adjusted to your experience, interests, and available time.
